There are countless festivals around Oklahoma. Travelers can visit lights both near and far to celebrate the season. Below is a round-up of some of the state’s dazzling winter wonderlands.

Chickasha Festival of Light

With more than 3.5 million lights, the Chickasha Festival of Light is recognized as one of the top holiday light shows in the nation. The festival also offers horse-drawn carriage rides, a ferris wheel, hot chocolate, and more. You can find your way to the park by following the path toward the iconic 172-foot Christmas tree which can be seen from miles around.

Festival of Lights

One of the largest light displays in southern Oklahoma can be found in Ardmore. The Festival of Lights features more than 150 animated displays along a 1.5 miles drive. It’s the perfect excuse to set the radio to your favorite Christmas music and sing along with merriment and cheer.

Guymon’s Festival of Lights

Guymon’s Festival of Lights offers more than just sparkling views; it offers a place to make magical memories. Each day, the Reindeer Express will make evening runs. The Texas County Activity Center will host special events throughout December, such as an ice skating rink and the Nutcracker Craft show.

Christmas in the Park

What started as a short drive-through of lights now spans three interconnected parks. Yukon’s Christmas in the Park dazzles with more than five hundred displays and five million lights. Visitors can experience the lights in a few various ways: driving, walking, or catching a ride on the Santa Express Train. Make sure you don’t go through these lights too fast though, as some of the displays are choreographed along with popular Christmas songs.

Lights from the Heart

Take a leisurely two-mile drive in the Heart of Oklahoma around Purcell City Lake to see the Lights from the Heart. You can drive through tunnels of twinkling lights, see penguins and candy canes, and watch the lights reflect on the water. For an extra magical experience, visit on a Saturday in December to see Santa Claus.

Winter Wonderland

Thousands of shimmering lights, numerous festive activities, and a winter market all help to make up this year's wildlife themed Winter Wonderland in Tulsa. Don’t miss out on dancing with the elves, holiday themed treats, and live merry music. Even Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in attendance on the weekends.

Whether you prefer to start the holiday festivities early or wait until December 1, you’ll have plenty of options to choose from.
