This week on the Oklahoma Today Podcast, Web Editor Greg Elwell sits down with Nathan Holliday, co-chair of the Thunderbird Drone Festival in Woodward, which comes to the Woodward Conference Center August 25 and 26.
Drones are increasingly a part of everyday life, but new applications are found every day. The Thunderbird Drone Festival includes product demonstrations for first responders, a drone film festival, and competitive drone sports, like racing and "drone soccer." Even those who have never flown a drone will find something to love, with seminars for beginners and drone equipment giveaways for a lucky few.
Also on this week’s podcast, the well-traveled editors discuss some of the finest views in the state and hear plenty of suggestions from social media in Question of the Week. Follow Oklahoma Today on Facebook and Instagram to take part in the conversation.
