Pawnee’s Most Wanted
Well, partner, maybe this town is big enough for the both of us. In Pawnee, Wanted: Dead or Alive showcases the state’s most infamous outlaws with mugshots and archival photos from the FBI and historical collections. Step into No Man’s Land, where lawlessness reigned, whiskey towns thrived, and the Wild West was full of unsolved mysteries. Set against the backdrop of Pawnee Bill’s historic ranch—where bison roam and history comes alive—this special exhibit brings the frontier to life. Tour Pawnee Bill’s mansion, explore the museum, and catch the exhibit before it closes this April.
Through April 27. Tickets, $7 okhistory.org

Don’t let the name fool you—Bare Bones International Film Festival is anything but bare. Celebrating fiercely independent filmmakers, this festival showcases more than 150 indie films, from Oklahoma-made romances to Canadian industrial rock music videos—from student shorts and horror flicks to documentaries on Cherokee history. Enjoy panel discussions, live music, a classic car parade, and a rockstar-style gala. Named one of MovieMaker magazine’s top twenty-five indie festivals, Bare Bones has been a beloved tradition for twenty-six years. Catch screenings at Muskogee’s historic Roxy Theater and the Muskogee Library—where they literally roll out the red carpet for independent film.

All Oar Nothing
The race to LA28 starts here—literally. The International Canoe Federation Spring World Ranking Series is making waves at RIVERSPORT OKC, bringing the world’s top canoe slalom and kayak cross athletes to battle intense whitewater for Olympic ranking points. Friday kicks off with canoe slalom, where paddlers weave through rushing rapids with speed and precision. Saturday’s kayak cross ups the intensity with head-to-head sprints to the finish, and Sunday wraps up with more canoe slalom. Spectators can watch for free, with $10 parking and $20 prime viewing passes available (free for RIVERSPORT Members). Expect daring moves, photo-finishes, and edge-of-your-seat excitement as athletes take on OKC’s world-class whitewater course.

Family FUN-damentals
When’s the last time you scheduled some serious fun? Block off March 29—Kids Fest 2025 is taking over Rose State College. Bounce houses, hands-on activities, live entertainment, and even a petting zoo (yes, with scaly critters too) are all on the agenda. They say not to meet your heroes, but at Kids Fest, kids can meet theirs—princesses, superheroes, and more. They can also battle in the Nerf zone, get crafty, and join a prize-packed scavenger hunt. Meanwhile, parents can explore more than forty vendors offering camps, after-school programs, and family resources. With food trucks to keep everyone fueled and Emmy-winning artist Jabee as emcee, it’s the perfect mix of play and planning.

Body Slams and Brews
Talk about a Sweet Sixteen. COOP Ale Works is celebrating sixteen years with a party that pulls out all the stops. Dozens of signature brews will be on tap, plus exclusive beers brewed just for the night. Sing your heart out at karaoke, strike a pose at the photo booth, and get inked at the temporary tattoo station. VIPs get limited-edition glassware, mystery swag bags, and front-row seats to live pro wrestling—because what party isn’t complete without a few body slams? With a portion of proceeds benefiting the Oklahoma Humane Society, this party will be a knockout in more ways than one.
