Running Over the Hill
Anyone aged fifty or older is welcome to participate this week in the 2021 Yukon Senior Games. With events from archery to creative writing, everyone will have something to do. If you are missing that competitive spark this event will have all of the fun-spirited rivalry you could ask for. Sooner Reunion
Celebrate the Land Run of 1889 and the history of Guthrie in style at the ‘89ers Parade and Celebration. Dig in on some Western-style eats at the Chuckwagon Feed or get in on a carnival loaded with rides and games. There is also a baseball game and an arts and crafts show, among much more to do. R&B Me
The Tower Theater is known for great musical performances and this week is no exception. Come see Jackie Venson for some great tunes and smooth R&B. Venson has performed with many major acts and she always comes to entertain. She is a multi-instrumentalist, and her voice is not one to miss out on. The Little Ballerina
Experience the tale of a mermaid in search of eternal love at Oklahoma City Ballet Presents: The Little Mermaid. Some of the most talented dancers in the state will perform their telling of the classic story accompanied by a beautiful score and impressive sets. Chalk the Chalk
Chalk is not just for kids, in fact people have done very impressive things with the medium. Walkin’ on Chalk Arts Festival will allow artists of all ages to compete for over $1,000 in cash prizes for those who make the most impressive “chalking.” There will be food vendors if you get hungry, and plenty of fun events to get in on after you create your masterpiece.
