Cyclists and jokers unite for a weekend of fun contests and events at April Fools Mountain Bike Festival. Whether you're participating or spectating, there's plenty of mirth to be found in the costume parade ride, downhill races, and the Fool's Dozen race. The downhill races will have cash payouts for participants and the costume parade will feature live music. Get your thrills and chuckles all at once with this unique festival in Medicine Park. Hot air balloons and tacos make for an interesting combination, but if you dream of soaring through the air with a savory taco in your hand the 2021 Folds of Honor Redbud Balloon Festival & Oklahoma Taco Fiesta in Yale is for you. A Cowboy’s Dessert
Enjoy select cobblers and ice cream with poetry, as well as food trucks, live music, and events for children at the Cowboys & Cobbler Throwdown. This is the perfect event for anyone who appreciates the culture of the west and Oklahoma. Chow down on your sweets while listening to cowboy poets Jay Snider and “Straw” Berry perform some of their work. This outdoors event is the perfect way to get some Oklahoma sun and fresh air.
