Many concerts are all about one band with one style in one genre, but in today’s fast-paced world, audiences need to pack entire decades of music into a single evening. Norman-based My So Called Band can read the tea leaves, delivering the best of 1990s and 2000s grunge, hip-hop, country, rock, pop, and more when it takes the stage at the Tower Theatre in Oklahoma City. Extraordinary Fare

Valentine’s Day was not, in fact, invented by greeting card companies. If anything, it was invented by a few saints with some very bad luck in the not-being-decapitated department. But don’t lose your head about it, because Valentine’s Day is now all sweetness and love, which you can taste for yourself at the tenth annual Yukon Chocolate Festival benefitting the Mabel C. Fry Public Library and local park renovations. A ticket includes ten sample treats plus access to the silent auction and more than twenty chocolate booths. February 5. Tickets, $12.50-$15. yukonok.gov

Rawr

Lions and tigers—but probably not bears—are the order of the day at Super Cao Nguyen supermarket in Oklahoma City during the Lunar New Year Celebration. Kick off the Year of the Tiger in the Oklahoma City Asian District with the traditional lion dance and approximately one million firecrackers, according to store co-owner Ba Luong. Don’t forget to bring those lucky red envelopes to the lions. February 5 & 6. Admission, Free. caonguyen.com

Still No Beans

Ride one trail or leave tracks on them all during the annual Lake McMurtry Chili Bike in Stillwater. With thirty-five miles of mountain biking trails for every skill level, Lake McMurtry is a beloved destination for cyclists. But all that riding means trails need regular maintenance, which is why all proceeds from Chili Bike go right back into keeping the trails in perfect riding condition. Riders can feast on treats from food trucks at the west pavilion from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. February 6. Registration, $40. bikereg.com/chili-bike
