Norman-based My So Called Band can read the tea leaves, delivering the best of 1990s and 2000s grunge, hip-hop, country, rock, pop, and more when it takes the stage at the Tower Theatre in Oklahoma City. Valentine’s Day was not, in fact, invented by greeting card companies. If anything, it was invented by a few saints with some very bad luck in the not-being-decapitated department. But don’t lose your head about it, because Valentine’s Day is now all sweetness and love, which you can taste for yourself at the tenth annual Yukon Chocolate Festival benefitting the Mabel C. Fry Public Library and local park renovations. A ticket includes ten sample treats plus access to the silent auction and more than twenty chocolate booths. February 5. Tickets, $12.50-$15. yukonok.gov

Ride one trail or leave tracks on them all during the annual Lake McMurtry Chili Bike in Stillwater. With thirty-five miles of mountain biking trails for every skill level, Lake McMurtry is a beloved destination for cyclists. But all that riding means trails need regular maintenance, which is why all proceeds from Chili Bike go right back into keeping the trails in perfect riding condition. Riders can feast on treats from food trucks at the west pavilion from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. February 6. Registration, $40. bikereg.com/chili-bike
