Learn to shoot hoops from the best at the Thunder Youth Basketball Camp.
Space Jam
Learn to shoot like a pro at the Thunder Youth Basketball Camp in Oklahoma City. Kids aged six to fourteen can head to the Chesapeake Energy Arena to learn the fundamentals of basketball. In each 1:6 coach and camper ratio, athletes are put through drills to improve ball handling, shooting, and passing. Participants are also given a youth basketball jersey, a basketball, water bottle, and a ticket for one game during the Thunder’s 2021-2022 season. Angels in the Outfield
Bring your hat and glove and watch as the Tulsa Drillers take on the Midland Rockhounds at the ONEOK Field in Tulsa. Fans can enjoy concessions and good ol’ ballpark fun as they cheer for their favorites. You won’t need to wish for an angel for an exciting night of baseball. Tickets, $2-$36. July 27-Aug 1. What Fools These Mortals Be
The fool Puck is at his antics again as Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park Presents: A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Shakespeare Gardens in Oklahoma City. Watch as each character navigates the woes of romance, jealousy, and comical bewilderment. Thespians and Shakespeare fans unite for one of Shakespeare’s most famous and thrilling comedies. Ka-Chow!
Have your Kerouac moment at the Route 66 Heritage Festival in Miami. Celebrate the history of Route 66 with fun activities for the whole family. Located at the Coleman Theatre, visitors can experience more than the open road with live performances, food trucks, a car and bike show, and more. Watermelon Sugar High
Sink your teeth into an abundance of watermelon at the Valliant Watermelon Festival in Valliant. Head to Valliant Park to experience a multitude of activities such as a 5k, car show, dachshund races, and stickball tournament. That’s not to mention the watermelon games which include competitions in seed spitting and eating as well as watermelon bingo and shootout contests.
