A Frank Discussion

The annals of history beckon to be revisited and retold so we may not repeat past offenses. In this independent film, #Anne Frank Parallel Stories, Academy-Award winning actress Helen Mirren guides the powerful retelling of Anne Frank’s diary through various pages; as well as the story of five Holocaust survivors with similar stories to the Anne Frank. Powerful, gut-wrenching, and necessary. March 3 & 4. Tickets, $10-$15. circlecinema.org

Dirt-y Projectors

With more than one hundred submissions, from short films and music videos to dramatic features, this three-day event will be sure to have you coming back for a popcorn refill or two. March 5-8. Head to the Bricktown Events Center in Oklahoma City for a 1920s-themed celebration that is no yolk as the Oklahoma City Museum of Art's 36th Annual Omelette Party cracks open for another year. Scramble in for brunch-inspired bites from fifteen local restaurants, poach a piece from one of more than fifty local artists, and get pickled at the open bar. Did we go ova board on egg puns? Only time shell tell. March 6. Tickets, $80-$125. okcmoa.com
