Jones-ing for Music

Live music has returned to The Jones Assembly with recurring shows each week. Music First, sponsored by First National Bank of Oklahoma, will bring gigs every Tuesday through Friday in March. If you have been missing the in-person experience of live, local musicians, then make sure to stop by for some tunes accompanied with food and drinks. Every Tuesday-Friday in March. Tickets, Free. Cinephile Club

Film snobs are encouraged to check out the Red Dirt Film Festival this weekend in Stillwater. Only the best feature length films and shorts were selected from a large number of submissions, so festival goers will get the cream of the crop. Sunny Side Up, Please

The most important meal of the day just got more important. For the thirty-seventh time, the Oklahoma City Museum of Art hosts Omelette Party: Br-EGG-fast in Bed!. Due to the pandemic, the breakfast will be fully virtual. But that’s where you can get creative. Recipes will be provided for those who want to try their hands at omelet mastery. Put on that old green shirt and spend the day in Durant for a day of Irish cheer and tradition. St. Patrick’s Day Celebration will have everything you need to get your lucky fix. Classic green beer will be available and there will be live Irish music, face painting, and pub crawls, among the other events. Pucker Up

See some fast paced and hard hitting action take place in Tulsa this Sunday. The Tulsa Oilers vs Wichita Thunder will face off on the ice at the BOK Center. Grab a beer or maybe some popcorn and watch the professionals do their thing. This game will entertain the whole family, so make sure to bring everyone this Sunday. March 14. Tickets, $14-$34.
