Bend and Snap
Move over, Perry Mason! Get lost, Matlock! Take a hike and don't come back, L.A. Law! America only has room for one legal thriller in its heart and fans can see it live in Stillwater when the McKnight Center for the Performing Arts presents Legally Blonde—The Musical. This 2001 movie is now a 2022 hit musical featuring blonde and beautiful Elle Woods challenging the intimidating world of law school and finding love along the way. November 10-11. Tickets, $27-$123. mcknightcenter.org
Mountain Music
Some people love shopping. Some people love music. But what about those unfortunate souls who love both? Those folks can be found in Broken Bow during the Beavers Bend Folk Festival & Craft Show at Beavers Bend State Park. Visitors to this free event can watch turn-of-the-century crafting techniques, buy one-of-a-kind gifts, and listen to some of the finest folk musicians in the country in one of the most beautiful natural spaces on the planet. November 11-13. Admission, free. facebook.com

Frozen Foods
It's not uncommon, the midst of Oklahoma's most scorching summer days, to find customers perusing the freezer section at Crest Foods for an extended period of time. But when the temperatures drop, the action heads outside to Crest on Ice at the grocery store's Norman location. The parking lot is transformed into a seasonal ice-skating rink with more than 4,000 square feet of space to salchow, lutz, and upright spin—sometimes even on purpose. Skaters are encouraged to bring their own equipment, but skates will be available for rent, as well. November 11-January 8. Tickets, $10-$13. crestonice.com

This Show is Wild
Light up your winter at the Oklahoma City Zoo when Safari Lights returns for two months of gleeful glowing. More than 59 wildlife-themed light sculptures will decorate the zoo and visitors can soak them up both in the car and on foot. Take part in interactive light exhibits, rock out with musical light performances, and wish all of the animal residents some very happy holidays. Want to get extra indulgent? Guests can pre-order hot chocolate and kettle corn for the drive and glow items to help light the way when they walk through the zoo at night. Reservations are required. November 12-January 1. Admission, $10-$60. okczoo.org

Camelids in Space
Grady County has nothing against llamas, per se, but they won't be the main focus during the Oklahoma Blastoff Alpaca Show in Chickasha. Head to the Grady County Fairgrounds to watch alpacas from across the country converge to compete in halter and fleece shows, then wander through the booths to pick up gifts of ultra-soft alpaca fleece, which is perfect to ward off the winter chill. There's also a photography contest, a silent auction, and a Fall Harvest Banquet with a cash bar. November 12-13. Admission, free. alpacasofoklahoma.com
