A Delicious Squish

Remember in high school when a bunch of grapes kept picking on you and your friends? Get your sweet revenge in Slaughterville during the Canadian River Winery’s VIP Grape Stomp. Guests start off with a wine cocktail before a five-course meal is served, with wine pairings accompanying each course, of course. After enjoying live music, attendees can enjoy the classic grape-stomping experience in one of the winery’s original wood barrels and take a behind-the-scenes tour with a straight-from-the-barrel wine tasting. September 24. Tickets, $30. eventbrite.com

Better Than In-Laws

In 1927, Bartlesville oilman Frank Phillips held a party and invited the best of the best and the worst of the worst: socialites, cowboys, bankers, thieves, and law officers. In his honor, and to help raise funds for the 3,700-acre wildlife preserve, museum, and ranch, Woolaroc hosts the annual Cow Thieves & Outlaws Reunion. This massive party includes live music, lots of food, plenty of dancing, and even more fun. September 25. Tickets, $75. woolaroc.org

Sweet and Sauer

Oklahoma is a melting pot, drawing in residents from around the world. The Blaine County town of Okeene was largely founded by German immigrants, which is why residents celebrate Okeene Germanfest each year. Kids will enjoy the games and contests, while adults can revel in delicious German cuisine, including schnitzel, bratwurst, and bierox while downing delicious beer from the Ayinger Brewery in Bavaria.
