Fun N’ Fall
For seasonal family fun, the Fall Fun on the Farm at the Wild Things Farm in Pocola is sure to have an activity worth your time. Every weekend until October 31 visitors can visit the 90-acre farm with activities such as hayrides, a petting zoo, pumpkin patch, and corn and flashlight mazes. Daily admission is $12, but guests can upgrade to a superpass for $15, which includes a pony ride. Individual pony rides cost $5. September 28-October 31. Admission, $12-$15. On the Fringe
Enthusiasts of fringe theater are in for a treat at Oklahoma City-based Theatre Crude’s Fringe Festival, returning for the second year—virtually. Theater lovers are invited to stream performances on Theatre Crude’s YouTube and Facebook channels from twelve production companies and individual artists for free, but are encouraged to tip their favorite artists through a virtual tip jar. Patrons can stream productions from artists such as New York City’s Aversion Productions and solo actress and writer Brianna Gagné from Florida. Patrons can also pay $5 to subscribe to the archive of performances to stream them as many times as desired from the show’s premiere until October 31. October 1-10. Admission, Free. Drone On
Fans of ambient, experimental music are invited to stream Tulsa’s first Drone Fest, an online community event that will stream performances from local drone musicians, including event curator Nathan Young, State Sanctioned Violins, Slum Affair, and more. The event will be streamed from Tulsa Artist Fellowship’s Archer Studios in downtown Tulsa. Participants can stream the two-day festival on Tulsa Noise’s Vimeo and can expect a premier streaming experimental music experience. October 2-3. Admission, Free. Jam’n in Jeeps
If you’re an Oklahoman Jeep connoisseur, you can’t miss Muskogee’s Okie Jeep Jam at Hatbox Field—a three-day event where Jeep-owners can traverse obstacles, trails, and mud courses, as well as enjoy live music performances, food, and more. The event raises funds to support local charities. Participants need to register their vehicles online by October 1, or in person the day of the event. Spectators are invited to freely watch the events, and are encouraged to shop from available vendors. Admission is per jeep, and every registered vehicle includes one ticket to the Cody Canada and The Departed concert on October 2 from 7 to 11 p.m. October 2-4. Admission, $20-$50. Springs Songs
The seventeenth annual Fling at the Springs music festival returns to Enid’s Government Springs Park North on October 3 from 2 to 9 p.m. with artists ranging in genre from classic rock and country to red dirt and Americana. The line-up includes The Johnsons, Beautiful Disaster, and 51 Junction. The event is family friendly and participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and coolers to enjoy the musical evening. Food and beverages will be available to purchase. October 3.
