Oklahoma is once again in the midst of tornado season, so today's Tuesday Trivia is all about storm chasing. Brave weather watchers and meteorologists (often one and the same) hit the road each year, sometimes putting their lives on the line, to spot tornadoes and gather information to make storm prediction more effective. Oklahoma being the epicenter of tornadic activity, it's little wonder that the first widely documented storm-chasing field research happened here back on May 24, 1973 when an F4 tornado hit a city in southern Canadian County.
What is the name of the Oklahoma City hit in May 24, 1973 that gave us an early look at the life cycle of tornadoes?
