College football season is so close you can almost smell it, so for this week's trivia question, we wanted to talk about someone whose name has become synonymous with Oklahoma sports: Barry Layne Switzer.

Long before he took the Dallas Cowboys to the Super Bowl, he was simply an assistant coach at the University of Oklahoma, where he worked under Jim Mackenzie and Chuck Fairbanks. When Fairbanks left to coach the New England Patriots, Switzer stepped into the head coaching shoes for the 1973 season. Were it not for a tie, it would have been an undefeated season for the Sooners.

Who did OU tie with in the Barry Switzer's first season as head coach?
