Oklahoma loves flowers, and counts several of them as official state symbols. The first of which is mistletoe, recognized as an official floral symbol both in Oklahoma's territorial days and officially upon statehood in 1907. In 1986, the Indian Blanket (Gaillardiapulchella) was named the official state wildflower. Then in 2004, under Governor Brad Henry, an official state flower was added to the list of state emblems.

Made official in 2004, what is the name of Oklahoma's state flower?
