It's no secret that we're pretty wild about Oklahoma's state parks, but can't the same be said for anyone who visits? There aren't many places better to reconnect with nature (as well as family, friends, and grilled meats) than a state park. Some of them date back to the 1930s, but that's just proof we were thinking about conserving our natural wonders well in advance. Each of the state parks has something to recommend them, but for sheer size, one park easily surpasses the others by more than 4,000 acres. It was not the first Oklahoma state park, but it was the first Oklahoma state park to be added to the National Register of Historic Places.
What's the largest of Oklahoma's state parks by area?
