The film industry is big business in Oklahoma, especially in recent years. From Rain Man to The Outsiders to Killers of the Flower Moon to Twisters, a smorgasbord of blockbusters has been shot here in the state. And even more have been set here, including Hang 'em High, Where the Heart Is, and of course, Children of the Corn: Runaway. There also was Far and Away, the 1992 Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman film about two Irish immigrants participating in the Land Run of 1893.
**For this Tuesday Trivia we're asking: What former actor with Oklahoma roots was the director of Far and Away? **
