One of our favorite trivia topics is how Oklahoma cities and towns got their names. More often than you’d think, a lot of Oklahoma communities are named for railroad employees—a perk of the job, we suppose—but there are also plenty named for nearby features or taken from Native American words. But the city we’re thinking of today was named after the founder’s daughter, Delaphene, when it was incorporated in 1948.

What Oklahoma County city is named after Delaphene Campbell?
