Time is a flat circle...or something. If you grew up in Oklahoma, it can be hard to recognize that we are still a pretty young state. We only just had our centennial a few back, more than a century behind some of our older brethren. So while some historic structures in New England date back to the 1600s, our oldest buildings seem relatively young. Head to Tahlequah to find one of Oklahoma’s most historic buildings, including the oldest government building in the state. Built in 1844 by James Pierce, it was previously home to a printing press, as well as a tribal nation’s highest court.
