Your magazine elves are hard at work in Santa Nate’s factory putting to bed the last Oklahoma Today issue of the year—issue six of our seventieth volume. And while some of us look like we’ve been here since the beginning, we’re a much-changed staff from the folks who put together the first issue with a cover date of January 1950. And it’s a much-changed magazine, with things like color pictures, bylines, and roughly twelve times more pages than our inaugural offering. Even the name has changed!
