The death of Queen Elizabeth II has a lot of folks looking through the history books for interesting tidbits from her life and we're no different. So here's a deep-dive Oklahoma connection for you: though they'd met years earlier, it's said that Elizabeth and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, truly fell in love when they saw Oklahoma! on its opening night in the West End of London in 1947. In fact, a song from the show came to symbolize their romance.
